Silks Layering

By invitation from our silks aerial instructors, this class will dive deeper into the wraps learned in the foundations class, focusing on breaking down and experimenting with aerial silks skills. We will embark on a journey into theory by constructing sequences and dedicating time to safely explore familiar shapes in search of new and unique pathways.

This class runs in a series of 4-week increments, with attendance recommended once a week for optimal progress.

Prerequisites: Must have instructor invitation to join. It is suggested to be able to climb, hip key in the air, capability to invert in the air is recommended, and students should have a strong understanding of the following base wraps: thigh hitch, catcher's lock (open wrap), opposite side wrap (closed wrap), crochet twist or double twist (cross back straddle is a prerequisite to this), Rebekah wrap, and ankle wraps.
